TO MY PRECIOUS WIFE:
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. Page 2
A story of love, happiness, tragedy,
and death.
THE BEGINNING FOR TERRY:
Thelma D. Rojas (Terry) was born in 1932 in
Caracas, Venezuela. She was brought up in a strict religious
environment. Her family, of moderate means, worked hard to
raise her, and her four brothers. Her father worked for 35
years for Standard Oil Co. Terry and her Mother struggled
to take care of the family. Terry did very well in school
in Venezuela, and excelled in swimming. A beautiful and talented
young girl, she was very popular with her classmates. She
was well liked for her personality. When her Father retired,
the family moved to Miami. As a teenager she married and had
two sons. They were incompatible and she was mistreated, later
divorced. Terry got a job at the Miami Seaquarium as a Spanish
interpreter. We were miles apart but were destined to meet.
